Comment je suis tombée amoureuse de la Kpop
15 years go, like many young French people, I was listening to Jpop, the music from Japan. From 2005, YouToube appeared and as someone from the 1st generation of Internet, I created a YouTube account. I later on discovered Rain & BoA in 2006 and this is when I realised that though they were singing in Japanese, they were actually Koreans.
I had no idea where was Korea, as I only knew about Japan or China.
It was the start of my love story with Korea. I began to listen to Kpop more and more, and then I go interested into the dramas, the Korean language and culture.
Though I am from the 2nd generation of Kpop fans, I consider myself from the 1st generation in the western world.
I fell in love with Rain, of course, but also with SS501, my first Kpop group. My love for Kpop grew until now in 2020. Since I fell in love at 1st listening with BTS in 2018, there is no other group that came into my life after them.

Il y a 15 ans, comme beaucoup de jeunes français, j'écoutais de la Jpop, la musique japonaise. À partir de 2005, YouTube est apparu. Étant une personne de la 1ère génération d'Internet, j'ai créé un compte YouTube. Plus tard, j'ai découvert Rain & BoA en 2006 et c'est là que que je me suis rendu compte que bien qu'ils chantaient en japonais, ils étaient en fait coréens.
Je ne savais pas où était la Corée, car je ne connaissais que le Japon ou la Chine. C'était le début de mon histoire d'amour avec la Corée. J'ai commencé à écouter de plus en plus de Kpop, puis je me suis intéressée aux dramas, à la langue et à la culture coréenne. Bien que je sois de la 2ème génération de fans de Kpop, je me considère comme de la 1ère génération dans le monde occidental.
Je suis tombée amoureuse de Rain, bien sûr, mais aussi de SS501, mon premier groupe Kpop. Mon amour pour la Kpop a grandi jusqu'à aujourd'hui en 2020. Depuis que je suis tombée amoureuse à la première écoute de BTS en 2018, il n'y a pas d'autre groupe qui est entré dans ma vie après eux.
